Because what is more fashion forward than Birks?

Oh Birks, how I love thee. About five years ago, I went to a podiatrist with terrible and unremitting foot pain. She said, and I quote, "you can get foot surgery or wear Birkenstocks every day. Your call." I picked Birkenstocks, and while I can't pretend I've worn them every day, I certainly have most days. I have my summer pair (see the photo) and my winter clogs, as well as two pairs that look basically like slip-ons? They are a true magical shoe for comfort, I can wear them hours a day, every day, and still feel completely fine.
